UVSS CLOTHING SWAP

Ready to try out a new style? Do you have old clothes you’re looking to get rid of?

The Clothing Swap lets you do just that… and did we mention it’s free? AND no donations are required to grab some awesome clothes!

The UVSS is holding a CLOTHING SWAP!

Donations welcome – pop by to shop, donate, and maybe find your new favourite piece!

Drop Off Location: in front of the UVSS Director of Events office in the Board of Directors offices on March 25 – 27 from 10am to 4pm, or bring them right to the swap!

Anything leftover will be donated to a local charity.

The UVSS, UVic Sustainability, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and Big Brothers Big Sisters are partnering up to set up a move-out Donation Drive!

Before you move out, drop off items you no longer need and make our campus more sustainable.

🕚 11:00am until 3:00pm
📅 April 16th and 23rd
📍We will be taking donations out of UVic Parking Lot #5

We Accept: Small appliances, kitchenware, gently used furniture, electronics, and clean clothing.
We will not accept: Mattresses, box springs, or liquid substances.

All donated items will be going to charities, including Habitat for Humanity!

FEM-EXPO

FEM-EXPO (Feminist Empowerment Expo) is a bold, week-long celebration of intersectional feminism that weaves together the magic of workshops, panels, vendors, art, performances, and more!

Join us for multiple educational free events like “Intro to Hormone Therapy Panel,” “Risk Literacy for Kinksters,” and more! Or enjoy some art during our feminist art exhibit “The Hands that Build tomorrow. Peruse through our Market and Tabling Fair and buy some beautiful jewelry and trinkets or enjoy a movie and feminist discussion during our Film Festival. Don’t forget to get wet and wild for our anti-fashion variety show “Groovefest”, coming back after a 20-year hiatus!
