Are you ready for round 2?
The SEXPO is a UVSS Advocacy run event that aims to promote sex-positivity, sex-education and consent education at the University of Victoria.

Our daylong event last academic year was the most attended event in the SUB, and this year BIGGER is better! We have a full week of events, including a two-day table fair that will include a FABULOUS showcase of sex-positive art, an opportunity for local vendors to sell their stuff, and additionally an opportunity for some of the amazing resource centres in ‘Victoria’ surrounding sexual health, wellness and positivity to connect with students.
Other events include a Valentines drag show hosted by the INCREDIBLE local queen Henrietta Dubét, four different panels, ranging from ‘What you missed in Sex Ed’ to a ‘Panel for Reproductive Justice’, workshops with Noah Klöze and Sage Lacerte, and a grand finale fashion show event in partnership with UVic’s Live Music Club that will highlight Victoria’s best lingerie and sex-positive style + a 19+ dance party in Vertigo right before reading break!

Our hybrid event will have a combination of both in-person and streamed events, and our aim is to foster community among individuals and organizations who work in various sexuality-related fields within the greater Victoria area. We hope that bringing together this diverse group will help connect the university community to a range of resources for fostering improved sex positivity, consent and wellness education.
