Our Semi-Annual General Meeting (SAGM) is on

We’re back for another SAGM! The UVSS is happy to announce our 2026 SAGM will be taking place via Zoom on February 26 at 4pm. Check in starts at 3, so log in early – everyone who registers before 3:45 will be entered to win a special prize!

At the SAGM, you’ll gain insights into the ongoing endeavors and future plans of the UVSS, and you’ll get to vote on special motions that are only passed at general meetings. We literally need YOU, so make sure to come for your chance to participate in your student government.

This is your platform to share feedback, offer suggestions, and play an active role in steering the direction of the UVSS. We’ll see you on February 26!

How To Join The SAGM

Instructions to join the SAGM:

Step 1: Join us on Zoom by clicking on the provided link below:

Step 2: Once you join, you will be placed in a waiting room. Here, you will see a link to the verification form.

Step 3: Fill out the form with your name, email, and V number. This is to confirm your current UVIC status and ensure that only current students are able to attend the meeting. Please note that your information will remain confidential and will only be accessed by UVSS staff.

Step 4: After submitting the form, your information will be verified, and you will be allowed to enter the meeting.

Note: To ensure a smooth verification process, please use your legal name when joining the meeting and have your UVIC V number readily available.
