This event is taking place on the unceded territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lekwungen peoples. Our learning and efforts towards sustainabillity must be mindful of settler colonialism and respect the knowledge and practices of Indigenous peoples.
Where: the Michèle Pujol Room small side, SUB (unless it is sunny! then we will be outdoors!)
It’s another clothing swap hosted by the Food Bank and Free Store! Get those closets cleaned out for spring and trade in your old clothes for fresh fabrics! We will also have some fun craft stations, including button-making.
This event is open to all community members. Clothing donations are appreciated but not mandatory: bring clean, gently used clothing to contribute if you want, or just come to find some new duds. Drop off clothes in advance to the Food Bank & Free Store Monday-Friday, 9:30-5, or just bring them to the event.
The Michèle Pujol room is wheelchair accessible. There will be rows of tables in the room, but they will be spaced with consideration to wheelchair access. The SUB also has wheelchair accessible gender-neutral washrooms. The Food Bank & Free Store’s Community Guidelines also apply to events (we will post a copy on this page beforehand). There will be music playing at the event.
