This position will be dedicated to and focus on the advocacy and inclusion of cis, trans, straight, queer, 2Spirit male and masculine identified persons. As such, grant writing, research, programming, and materials / campaigns development will center the engagement of masculine identified voices and their roles and interests in the anti-violence movement. All work developed will focus on prevention, education, and reduction of incidents of sexualized and gender-based violence perpetrated by male identifying people. This coordinator position will develop or work with existing campaigns, curricula, and events to increase awareness on issues men’s health and wellness, their capacity for bystander intervention, and the interruption of harmful ideas of patriarchal gender expectations.
